Can you quote exactly what it says?
why do some pages start the address https and some like pocket start www.pocket?? Whats safer.
http: is the protocol identifier for the standard protocol (called HTTP) for talking to web pages. The vast majority of websites use straight HTTP.

https: is for a secure HTTP connection ("HTTPS") (security via a technology called SSL). Typically HTTPS is used when dealing with sensitive information like credit card numbers and the like. HTTPS encrypts all data (in both directions) travelling between your browser and the website so that if anyone is monitoring that data at any of the intermediate locations between you and the site's servers, they can't read it or understand it. Any time you use online banking, or buy things online, or do anything that involves your exchanging sensitive data with a website, you want to see that it's using HTTPS, not just HTTP.

Pocket-Monkey doesn't deal with sensitive information, so there's no need for the overhead of secure connections.

(The "www" has nothing to do with the above, it's just a server name. Traditionally the server for the web site of a domain is "www" although increasingly just the raw domain name is used. With Pocket-Monkey, you can use either, but I currently suggest sticking with "www" because that's what we use when we email you turn notifications and such.)

Hope this helps,
