Why every game I play I get a popup to run an app from this site ? It is java which I already have been using. Very annoying and not happening on other game sites.

I have everything updated, still doing it today every game I try to play this popup comes on, if I click yes to run it, then the game loads, if I click no then I get an error message and a red X in the left corner of the game. This is still the only site having this issue that I play.

when the pop-up appears look in the top left corner of your address bar, there is a small icon , click on it and then click on always allow for this site. worked for me.

Hi,

This is fully described in our help, along with what to do about it.

The pop-up is from the Java plug-in, checking that it's okay to run the our applet (since some web sites have malicious applets). It is not from Pocket-Monkey.

There is a checkbox you can use to tell it to always okay to run the Pocket-Monkey applet (they say "app"), see the link above for details.

Enjoy your games,

I have done everything, all my updates are fine, I still get the popup with every game. Just don't understand why this is the only site giving me problems. It is a security warning says from PM..

This is probably the only site you use that uses a Java applet!

It is not saying the security warning is "from" PM. Sorry, but it's important not to let misinformation get out there.

Have you actually ticked the little checkbox? You've never mentioned it.

Hi,

I'm sorry the Java folks have managed to mess this up so badly.

I bet you that if you uninstall Java completely, reboot, and install it fresh from http://www.java.com, then come to Pocket-Monkey, see the security warning, tick the checkbox, and click Run, it'll work...

...for a while, until they screw it up again.

I'm running into the same issue. I uninstalled Java completely and then downloaded the most current version. I still get the pop-up before each game.

Hi,

If you've already ticked the box described here, it's a bug in / problem with the Java plug-in failing to remember that choice. Perhaps the people actually responsible for the plug-in can help:I wish there were something we could do about it, but it's nothing to do with us.

If you install a browser after installing Java, the Java installer won't have installed its plug-in on the browser (as it wasn't there).

Just uninstall Java and reinstall it.
