The temporary solution (which I referenced above, but probably a bit too tersely) is to use the non-Java version. You enable this by pressing the Settings link at the top (second from the end beside Help), then pulling down the Browser Type pulldown and choosing "Web Browser (without Java)". Then press the "Update Profile" button at the bottom and you should be good to go.
I did post a (even temporairy) solution so people can keep playing with that terrible java.

Open Java control panel>security tab>adjust security level>if that doesn't suffice try adding https://www.pocket-monkey.com to the site exception list. Best wishes.

If you're uncomfortable changing the security level then don't. You may have to type https in the url thing.
