Why and how do games freeze when they are on your home page?

What do you mean by them freezing, Pat?

I have three games on my home page and when I click on to play they don't move. I'ts with three different players and the games are battleboats.

I'm not sure whether you're saying that a) the game links don't take you to the game pages, or b) they do but then you find that you can't move.

If it's a) then I don't know what to suggest as a link should definitely do something, even if it's the wrong something. If you could give any more detail as to what happens that might be useful.

If it's b) then I've had something similar and was puzzled why the game wouldn't let me move. After a few clicks I kicked myself when I realised that all the games were in the Their Turn section and I actually had nothing to play. Doh! ;o)

However, assuming that it's nothing so easy, that it's definitely your turn but the game simply won't let you move, then I'd recommend the same advice as I gave Cindy here just to see if it makes any difference.

It's not possible to see another player's game list and so I can't check your games myself. If there are still difficulties then it might be useful to post the game numbers so that I can take a peek. I don't know what I might find that sheds any light but it would be worth a try.

Its b) they are on my home page and when I hit radar they do nothing. I came from WebTV to a tablet and not sure what to do. After so many days will they just disappear? thanks for your help.

Yes, if we can't get you able to play the games then they'll be lost when they run out of time. The impending date should be shown on your home page. As they're friendly games you might be able to negotiate with your opponent to change to the number of days.

A couple of questions..

Have you tried changing the browser setting as I suggested in the post below?

I've never used a tablet. Perhaps someone who has might have a suggestion about settings for tablets in general or for your tablet in particular. What make and model is it?

Hmm, that link doesn't work so here's what that post was on about:

Presumably you play your games using Java? If so, that's the Java-Enabled Web Browser option for Browser Type on your Settings page. Try changing it to Web Browser (without Java) and see if that works. :-)

Hi, thank you so much for your feed back. Its a Visual Land prestige 7 Android 4.1 jellybean way to much for my pea brain. I used to play on WebTV. But, thanks again.

you probably didn't need all that info but I don't know one thing from another, I don't even own a cell phone.

Patty I agree with PlayBunny, go to settings tab and select non java browser. It's what I use on my iPad.

If I play from my smart phone, I have to use non-java as well
